Economic opportunities for people with disabilities (PWDs) is an increasingly important subject in current discussions. It represents not just a means for individual empowerment, but also a crucial part of society inclusion and financial stability. Despite rising acknowledgment of the potential benefits of entrepreneurship for people with disabilities, considerable restrictions remain that prevent them from fully participating in economic activities. Addressing these hurdles has profound implications for communities, individuals, and society as a whole. However, while the concept of entrepreneurship for people with disabilities is receiving support, there is still a need to better understand and solve all of the challenges that they encounter. Beyond insufficient facilities and limited educational possibilities, there are also deeper structural concerns of discrimination and behavioral obstacles. Furthermore, economic difficulties, such as limited access to financing, limit PWDs' ability to start and grow businesses. The lack of effective support networks causes all of these problems, continuing the process of inclusion and preventing PWDs from realizing their economic potential. The aim of this research aims to explore extensively into the arena of economic opportunity for people with disabilities, identifying gaps in existing understanding and support measures. The research's emphasis on entrepreneurship as a road to empowerment intends to investigate the roles, obstacles, and future recommendations for economic opportunities for PWDs in Kedah. The study aims to shed light on the complexities of entrepreneurship for people with disabilities through qualitative interviews and analysis, as well as highlight possibilities for encouraging a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
