The research study delves into the Technology Readiness of Rural Community in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan, with the overarching goal of reducing the digital disparity between urban and rural areas. The study seeks to understand the level of preparedness of rural communities in embracing and effectively utilizing technology to empower these disadvantaged areas. The problem statement underscores the challenges hindering technology adoption in rural areas, particularly the lack of adequate technology infrastructure leading to limited access to digital tools and services crucial for education, healthcare, and economic development. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey design, the study investigates variables such as access to technology infrastructure, digital skills proficiency, attitudes toward technology, and perceived advantages and challenges in technology use. The survey, conducted in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan, involves distributing a questionnaire with 29 questions across seven sections to gather insights into rural residents' attitudes and readiness for technology adoption. The respondents, comprising members of the rural community, are briefed on the research objectives to ensure honest responses. Data collection involves a questionnaire-based methodology tailored to the rural community's specific circumstances, aiming to provide a comprehensive picture of the community's technological preparedness. Data analysis is facilitated using SPSS software, with a planned Cronbach's alpha reliability test for data validation.
